Families & Youth Work

Jane Asquith   Pete Morgan
As Families' Pastoral Worker, Jane is involved in all aspects of children's work at st Martin's, from visiting families interested in having their children baptised, right through to running youth groups for those children transitioning into their teenage years and also working with primary schools.
As a qualified primary school teacher, Jane grew up in Truro and, after living in various parts of the UK, New Zealand and the Netherlands, returned to Cornwall in 2000.  Married to Simon, she is a busy mum who, when not working with the church is usually running around after her 3 children!
Having attended St Martin's since 2000, Jane decided to leave her job as a teacher and make the exciting move of joining the team at St Martin's in 2016.
Pete and Rosie Morgan have lived and worked in South-East Cornwall all their married lives, which is a long time!  Pete was a secondary school teacher, but Rosie opted for teaching in primary schools (she was marginally taller than her pupils).
They've pretty much always been involved with working with youth groups; at present they help out with the teens on Sundays and the tinies at ABC on Tuesdays.  They love kids of all ages.
